Welcome to our little nook on the web!

The first time I wrote in this blog, I was pretty much pregnant and my mind was occupied mainly with motherhood issues, hence the name. Get it? But back then in 2005, I wrote only two posts and left it all alone until 2014, as I was mainly focused on being a mom and a working single parent with all the resilience and struggle all this entails. But fortunately, it has been altogether, a bumpy happy ride!

This is why I realized, I had so much to share not only as a mom but as a development worker in the field of Human Rights. My travelling around the globe, as led me to places and towards people with amazing stories with whom I have learn so much. But honestly, what I love the most is being a mom of the most wonderful human being I ever meet, my daughter Francisca. This blog is mine and hers, it's all about us and the things we care deeply about. It's about life as good as it gets!

Here we share our story in bits and stories of others about parenting, travel and other tales of resilience, courage, positive attitude towards life and spiritual development.

Bem-vinda/o ao nosso cantinho na Web!

A primeira vez que eu escrevi neste blog estava grávida e a minha mente estava ocupada principalmente com questões de maternidade, daí o nome. ok? Mas naquela época, em 2005, escrevi apenas dois posts e so regressei em 2014. Isto porque estava focada principalmente em ser uma mãe solteira trabalhadora, com toda a resiliencia e luta diaria que tudo isto implica. Mas felizmente, tem sido uma caminhada tremida mas bastante feliz!

Percebi que tinha muito a partilhar não apenas como mãe, mas como uma consultora internacional no campo dos Direitos Humanos. As minhas viagens pelo globo, levaram-me a lugares e a pessoas com histórias incríveis com quem eu aprendi muito. Mas, honestamente, o que eu mais amo é ser mãe do ser humano mais maravilhoso que eu alguma vez já conheci, a minha filha Maria Francisca.

Este blog é meu e dela, e é sobre todas as coisas que nos importam realmente. É sobre a vida, como ela é!

Aqui partilhamos a nossa história aos pedaçinhos e outras histórias dos sobre a parentalidade, viagens e contos de resiliência, coragem, atitute positiva em relação à vida e desenvolvimento espiritual.
