My Estoril in Cairo?

| O meu Estoril no Cairo?|

Vejo isto e sinto-me logo em casa :)

We found in downtown Cairo this pearl. Open since 1959, little is known of its origins referring to the place as Franco-Egyptian style bistro restaurant. Usually frequented by the intellectual spheres of Cairo, expatriates and diplomats where discussion, sheesha, with smoke flooding the room and the famous garlic bread are the most know features of the place.  I saw this, and I felt right at home :)

But I'm still trying to figure out where the name comes from! Once I find out, I'll share!
Does anyone know?
